Causes:

  • Using paint from one can to roll the walls and another can to cut in
  • Brushing and rolling at different spread rates
  • Cutting in the entire room before rolling, allowing edges to dry unevenly

RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS

  • Always use paint from the same batch or mix all cans together before starting.
  • Cut in and roll small sections at a time to keep a consistent wet edge.
  • Work from wet to dry and feather the edges of your brush and roller strokes.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATORS

Brush:
• Use a high-quality, synthetic, angled brush for cutting in.

Roller:
• Use a 3/8” woven roller for most smooth to lightly textured walls.
