RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS

Load your roller or brush properly — don’t skimp on paint, but avoid overloading. Apply in an even W-pattern and back-roll to spread the paint uniformly. Always prime first when:

  • Painting over bare drywall
  • Making dramatic color changes
  • Covering patched or stained areas
  • Applying two coats when in doubt — especially with light colors or low-pigment hues

After priming interior walls or other surfaces, all painting should be done within twelve hours for best adhesion.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATORS

Roller: Use a 3/8" nap for smooth walls or 1/2" nap for lightly textured surfaces.

Brush: Look for high-quality, synthetic, bristled, angled brush for cutting in and edges. Avoid budget brushes that leave streaks or don’t hold enough paint.
